Bending beam load cells are also known as Cantilever or Bellow type load cells.

Thames Side’s range of bending beam load cells has among the highest specifications in the market for process weighing, industrial scale and general measurement applications. Load cell capacities ranging from 5kg to 500kg are available.

They are designed specifically for high accuracy applications in tank and vessel weighing, filling systems, platform scales, bagging machinery, belt scales and conveyor systems.

Our Model T66 is manufactured from Stainless Steel, fully welded and hermetically sealed to provide total environmental protection (IP68 & IP69K).  

Our bending beam load cells carry recognised Weights and Measures approval from OIML as well as Model approval from Legal Metrology Department, Government of India. The T66 load cell is available with OIML C3 (3000 divisions) or C6 (6000 divisions) approval.

The T66 has ATEX and PESO approval for use in hazardous areas.  For use in dust zones 20, 21 and 22 there is no need for safety barriers.

Options of special cable lengths, Parylene coating (for highly aggressive and corrosive area), high temperature versions, as well as your own company labelling and 3rd party OIML certification are available.

We can supply technical drawings and 3D CAD files (e.g. in STEP format) to engineers who are specifying load cells for new equipment and we can supply installation drawings/technical manuals for site engineers responsible for system installation.

All of our load cells manufactured since July 2014 are RoHS 2 compliant.

Complementing our bending beam load cells are a range of weighing assemblies, such as the unique, patented LeverMount^® , LA66 Anti-Vibration assembly and the LA66 Conventional Assembly. Additionally, our range of rugged junction boxes and precision measuring electronics provides the optimum weighing solution in all applications.
